How to choose a good attorney.

The surest way to find a good estate planning attorney is to find one who also administers estates after death and has litigation experience when things don’t work out.    Many attorneys practice estate planning as a secondary practice.  Anyone can prepare paperwork, but not everyone understands the fine print, or why its there.  The same goes for businesses—skilled liability planning and transactional work requires experience dealing with the aftermath of poor planning.  Our office has experience at both ends of the spectrum, and we use our litigation experience to help clients avoid problems before they happen.
